Well… It’s been over a year since my last update on here, but hey – I haven’t abandoned it. My kids and the store have both been taking up most of my time, but things have (mostly) been good and I haven’t stopped working on art and music. I’ll go ahead and run through some art, new merch, and music from the last year or so below.

First of all – I had a lot of fun making some oil paintings for the first time. Here are some semi-decent cell phone pictures of a few – hard to capture, but you get the idea I think? I highly recommend painting / drawing / etc if you haven’t in awhile. No matter how “skilled” you think you are (or aren’t) it’s just therapeutic and it’s always great to step away from all the screens. Can also easily put on a show or movie, talk with friends, listen to music, etc – So it’s an easy one to make time for.

I decided to use the art I’ve been doing for some new merch designs too. Not exactly beat themed but I really like how these came out. The blanks I chose are also nice (I checked out samples).

And last but not least, lets run through some music I released since May 2025 (my last post):

Through It All (Instrumental Single):

This is a fun one… Building Bridges 2 Remixes. I had a lot of fun re-imagining the album with beats from my catalog. (Yes, volume 3 is done and on the way)

I Remember It All (Beat Tape):I had a significant loss of life in my family recently, and this is one of the things I did while initially processing everything

Aaand wooooo – I’m hype about this one – “Outside the Lines” by Shabaam Sahdeeq fully produced by me. If you’re not familiar – Shabaam Sahdeeq is a hip hop artist from Bklyn New York City that has featured along side music icons such as Pharoahe Monch, Mos Def, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Redman, Method Man, Kool G Rap, Common, Talib Kwali and more. Sahdeeq is internationally recognized for his work on the classic Soundbombing & lyricist lounge series on Rawkus Records. He is regarded as One of NY’s top underground artist.” – we connected because of Steele (of course). I am truly grateful. This one is only on Bandcamp at the moment but it will be on DSPs later this month.

And last – here’s a dope little selection of joints alongside the longtime friends SoBe, David Chief, & Axian:

On the Flip Side by SoBe & Es-K (Instrumental):

Sphere of Light by Axian, Es-K, SoBe, & David Chief (Instrumental):

Next Zone by Axian, Es-K, David Chief & daysoff (Instrumental):

Essence by David Chief & Es-K (Instrumental):

Thanks for taking the time to catch up with me and check out the music & art. I appreciate you! Till next time,

Robert
